Membership

NESA is a service organization that promotes professional and personal links among educators working in private, independent international schools in the Near East and South Asia region. The term of annual NESA membership is from July 1 - June 30. Institutions wishing to apply for NESA membership should complete the requisite application form.
NESA Membership Categories
Regular Membership
Open to any "American overseas" or "international overseas" school or school system located in the Near East South Asia geographical area which shares and subscribes to the objectives and purposes of NESA and is accredited by a NESA-recognized accrediting agency.
An "American overseas" school is any elementary and/or secondary school operating outside the US that provides a US-type education to US citizens and other nationals living abroad. An "international overseas school" is an elementary and/or secondary school operating outside the US that is organized primarily to provide an education to US citizens and/or third-country nationals, using English as the primary language of instruction.
Regular membership dues are set according to student enrollment. Applications must be approved by the Board of Directors.
Associate Membership
Open to any educational institution or program interested in the objectives and activities of NESA and wishing to share in its privileges and programs. Associate Membership is divided into the following categories: associate-schools; associate-colleges and universities; associate-special institutions.
Supporting Membership
Open to publishers and vendors of educational materials and equipment and other businesses and organizations interested in supporting the aims of NESA.
