About NESA
Shaping the future of international K-12 education through professional learning and collaborative community.
The Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) is a nonprofit association serving private, independent American and international schools across North Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and the Mediterranean. Since 1968, NESA has partnered with educators and schools to strengthen professional practice, cultivate leadership, and advance meaningful, holistic learning for all students.
Through thoughtfully designed professional learning and a strong collaborative community, NESA brings together people, ideas, and practices to support sustained, systemic school improvement and human flourishing.

NESA represents a special openness, a warmth, and an invitation to personal and professional involvement. It provides an open door to all those who would enter into its community with an open heart. It has the courage to embark on new programs and experiments, and has provided a model of what a regional overseas schools organization should be.
