Support Series for NESA School Counselors
Online Consultation for Groups of Counselors with the Truman Group

NESA Member School counselors are invited to apply for an online consultation series provided by the Truman Group.JOIN WAITING LIST

This no-cost interactive cohort experience is open to full NESA Member Schools. An experienced member of the Truman Group team will coordinate the meetings and provide the consultation. Each group of counselors will receive:
- Consultation meetings twice per month
- Peer-to-peer support
- Educational consultation
- Clinical consultation and referral
- Didactic psychoeducation regarding psychopathology and basic management in schools
- Up to fifteen hours of individual clinical consultation (in cases that require significant coordination and/or planning and cannot be addressed in a group setting)
The groups will meet for 90 minutes twice per month between September 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021, on a regular day and at a time that works for participants, with breaks for school holidays.
Participants will earn a NESA Certificate of Completion.
ABOUT THE TRUMAN GROUP
The Truman Group provides psychological counseling for a broad range of issues, including anxiety and depression, trauma, grief and loss, maintaining sobriety, relationship issues, life transitions, and anger and stress management. Their clinicians specialize in working with adolescents and children as young as ten, and frequently coordinate with schools and other health care professionals involved in supporting children and teens.
