Redesigning School Admissions as a Moment that Matters
Join David and Suzette in an interactive workshop to transform your school's Admissions Office. Discover the power of Experience Strategy to create a unique and intentional journey for prospective families. Gain practical tools to design each step of the process and make a lasting impact. Ensure your school stands out in a crowded educational landscape.
CONNECT & ENGAGE
As schools emerge from the shadow of a global pandemic, there is a growing sense that much has changed. We know that it’s time to think differently and “innovate”, but where do we begin when many of us are just trying to regain our balance and sense of normalcy?
And then, there is a growing sense that the educational landscape is changing. Shifts in enrollment are disrupting the status quo. Prospective parents are choosing schools differently. It is important for us to share how we are navigating a path through this changing landscape.
LEARN
You will learn the following during this workshop:
- First, you'll find out exactly what is "Experience Strategy" and why it matters for your school and, in particular, for your Admissions Office.
- Second, you'll learn what families actually remember when they visit your school (Hint: It's probably not what you post on your school website).
- Third, you'll learn about a man called Herzberg and his dual-factor theory ... and why we've been getting our school marketing wrong all this time. Finally, you'll learn why your school's Admissions Experience should be a bit more like Disneyland.
REFLECT & APPLY
The reality is that you will likely forget all but 21 percent of this workshop. So it is critical that you leave with tools to actually make a different back in your school.
Throughout the workshop, you will receive a range of custom-designed [YELLOW CAR] tools and resources. You will also be able to practice some first steps during the workshop itself.
All workshop participants will be invited to join the [YELLOW CAR] global community of school leaders and their teams. It's a place where you can ask questions, share your wins, and get access to further tools and resources to help your school stand out.
CONTINUUM LEVEL(S)
1: Developing Awareness
2: Deepening Understanding
3: Initiating Implementation
AUDIENCE
Marketing & Admissions Directors, Heads of School, Trustees, Educational Leaders, Operational Leaders (finance, HR, etc).

Advancement 2.0: A New Way of Doing Admissions, Communications & Development in Schools
Join David and Suzette in an interactive workshop on how to transform the effectiveness of admissions, communications, and development in your school. Discover why they believe that an integrated and coherent team will lead to an integrated and coherent experience for your school’s families.
Learn how this new approach – Advancement 2.0 – is successfully being implemented in schools around the world. Gain practical tools so that you can immediately begin this journey in your own school and measure the impact.
CONNECT & ENGAGE
Have you ever felt that you or your colleagues work in a silo? According to their own research, David and Suzette have learned that 50 percent of school leaders and their teams identify this as a problem in their school. We'll start this interactive conversation by identifying the potential impact of this issue, not only on employee wellbeing, but on the experience of families journeying through your school.
LEARN
You will learn the following during this workshop:
- First, you'll find out exactly what is "Experience Strategy" and why it matters for your school.
- Second, you will engage with a case study from the International School of Brussels, where David and Suzette successfully redesigned the work of admissions, communications, and development in their school. They'll also share how this new approach has started to be replicated in other schools around the world.
- Third, you will discover why Manifestos are so important when reshaping a team. Finally, as a bonus, you will leave understanding how to measure how families actually experience your school.
