Leading Together: The Head of School/Board Chair Partnership

“Leading Together” is the culmination of an AAIE project funded by the US Department of State’s Office of Overseas Schools promoting the shared leadership between the Board Chair and the Head of School to guide their school boards in effective governance.

The Leading Together pre-conference workshop provides Chair-Head teams with a clear picture of what and how they can “lead together” to ensure their Boards are meeting the challenges they face.

The "Leading Together" pre-conference workshop is open only to Board Chair-Head of School teams.

OUTCOMES...

• Chair/Head teams will understand the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill the nine responsibilities they share for leading their Boards in effective governance.
• Chair/Head teams will identify particular areas of strength and those worthy of refocus in leading their Boards and frame an action plan for leading together.

The "Leading Together" pre-conference workshop is open only to international school Board Chair-Head of School teams interested in enhancing the effectiveness of their partnership in leading their Boards.
