U-Theory challenges our habitual ways of seeing the world.
This workshop will introduce and reconnect participants to the fundamentals of U-Theory – or seeing and sensing from the emerging future. U-Theory challenges our habitual ways of seeing the world. This fundamentally different way of observing can be practiced immediately.
CONNECT & ENGAGE
We will start with our own experiences and pay attention to our habitual ways of knowing. We will explore the limitations of this approach and practice some of the fundamentals of "presencing".
We will connect with some of the key concepts within U-Theory, including how we listen, observe and make sense of the world around us, and take action.
REFLECT & APPLY
We will explore alternative approaches that allow us to be different observers – practicing – whether as part of the “Inside & Out" cohort or as you move through the rest of the conference.
Whether you've studied U-Theory for years, or are totally new to the concept – this session will resonate. It is designed for the “Inside & Out" cohort, led by Ivy Yan, Inspire Citizens Eco-Media Programs Director, AND is open to all conference attendees.
