ABOUT THE MEETINGS

Plan, learn forward, and reflect alongside fellow NESA school-based child protection team members and safeguarding leads. These three online collaborative meetings will help structure your child protection learning and program development for the year, with a September setup meeting, a mid-year check in, and an end-of-year check in and review.

In all sessions, there will be time for questions and a chance for schools to receive support for any current safeguarding concerns they might be addressing. ICMEC Director of Global School Initiatives Debbie Downes will lead engagement and provide templates to assist with further program development and review, providing framing for the best practices outlined in the Child Protection Team Member Training, Level 1 offering.

Please note: Certificates will not be issued for these planning meetings, and sessions will not be recorded.

TARGET AUDIENCE

NESA Member and Affiliate School child safeguarding leads and child protection team members.

SCHEDULE

The three 1-hour sessions will take place on Tuesdays, from 3:00-4:00pm Athens, Greece time (GMT+3/GMT+2):

      • Session 2: January 23, 2024
