Cognitive Coaching Seminars Foundation Training

Days 1 to 4: November 9-12, 2024
Days 5 to 8: March 15-18, 2025

Cognitive Coaching℠ is a model that supports people in becoming self-directed (which includes becoming self-managing, self-monitoring, and self-modifying). While Adaptive Schools is a cornerstone approach to group collaboration, Cognitive Coaching represents a deeper dive into the skills paraphrase and posing questions while equipping individuals with mental models and maps that support mediating thinking in one-on-one and small group dialogue in the classroom, in teams and beyond. This foundation course is offered in two parts (4 days each). Days 1 - 4 focus on skill development as well as two conversation maps: planning and reflecting. Days 5 - 8 further refine skills while introducing the problem resolving map as means to support individuals in getting "unstuck."

REGISTRATION FEES: US$100 per person for each 4-day training session

Deadline: October 24, 2024 for Days 1-4 and February 27, 2025 for Days 5-8

Participants must attend the entire 8-day training to receive a certificate of completion.
Please note that Days 5-8 fall during the Holy month of Ramadan.
