Join us for this four-part online workshop designed specifically for Teaching Assistants.

The role of the teaching assistant is broad and varied. There are many things going on during the school day, from supporting the learning in a wide range of subjects to supporting all areas of development, promoting wellbeing and being a great role model – all whilst working in partnership with teachers!

In this workshop, we will explore how to excel in all elements of being incredible in all areas of teaching and learning support.

      • What it means to be a truly exceptional teaching assistant
      • Key strategies to support teaching and learning
      • Develop skills to get the best from all the pupils you work with, using adaptive strategies to meet the needs of all abilities including those with additional needs
      • Provide invaluable support for teachers and pupils

Participants will earn a Certificate of Completion.

AUDIENCE

This series is suitable for anyone looking to become a more confident and capable Teaching Assistant.

EVA CARTWRIGHT BEd (Hons) has a passion for coaching, with over twenty years experience in education and training. An advocate of Teaching Assistants and Early Years professionals, she has a background in primary education, and a 20+ year career in raising the standard of education provision within schools and Early Years settings in the UK and internationally. From starting The Teaching Assistant College in 2006, which specialized in TA training, the company evolved into Alpha International Training, providing qualifications and training in over 50 countries to build TA and early years practice, and support teachers and senior leaders in implementing best practice.

  • Non-Member School Subscription: US$770

Fees quoted are per school, and include unlimited attendance and access to session recordings for your school's TAs for the four sessions.
