Join us on a shared journey to enhance school nursing services across the NESA region.

NESA's Strategic Support Sessions for School Health Professionals are designed to support and empower school nurses as key partners in promoting student health, well-being, and academic success. We aim to establish professional standards, foster collaboration among nurses, and provide professional development opportunities.

Throughout the program, we will engage in meaningful discussions and shared planning, learn from case studies and real-world examples, and provide specialist-led consultation and training to help develop and refine your game plan.

The three online collaborative meetings will structure your learning and development throughout the academic year:

      • Setup Meeting: Kick off the year with a strategic setup session. Establish best practice foundations, share current realities, and set goals.

      • Check-In: Reflect on progress and adjust strategies as needed. Focus on progress reports on goals and receive formative feedback and meaningful consultation.

      • Review: Evaluate the year's journey and celebrate achievements. Refine and deepen your practices based on shared insights.

Together, we will elevate the role of school nurses and create a brighter future for our students and schools.

OUTCOMES

      • Build connections and community with fellow school health professionals.
      • Receive ongoing guidance and encouragement.
      • Be equipped with scaffolds, strategies, and tactics to enhance school nursing services.
