Adaptive Schools Foundation Seminar Training

Adaptive Schools training supports developing collaborative teams by providing strategies, skills, concepts, and structures that support increased individual and collective performance, resourcefulness, and satisfaction. Cognitive Coaching Seminars Foundation Training, Days 1-8

Part 1 (Days 1 to 4): November 8-11, 2025  | 8:30am - 4:00pm
Part 2 (Days 5 to 8): April 18-21, 2026  | 8:30am - 4:00pm

Cognitive Coaching℠ is a model that supports people in becoming self-directed (which includes becoming self-managing, self-monitoring, and self-modifying). While Adaptive Schools is a cornerstone approach to group collaboration, Cognitive Coaching represents a deeper dive into the skills paraphrase and posing questions while equipping individuals with mental models and maps that support mediating thinking in one-on-one and small group dialogue in the classroom, in teams and beyond. This foundation course is offered in two parts (4 days each). Days 1 - 4 focus on skill development as well as two conversation maps: planning and reflecting. Days 5 - 8 further refine skills while introducing the problem resolving map as means to support individuals in getting "unstuck."

AUDIENCE

Participants interested in learning to mediate the thinking of others.

Cognitive Coaching Seminars Foundation Training: US$120 per person for each 4-day training session
Registration Deadline: October 28, 2025 for Days 1-4 and April 8, 2026 for Days 5-8
