THE DIVERSITY COLLABORATIVE is committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive, equitable and just environment among the leadership of the international school community. This collaborative hopes to utilize the talents of leaders in education to create lasting changes in the way we engage, support and promote educators who encompass a broad range of identities.
Jennifer Beckwith, Liz Duffy & Beth Pfannl
JENNIFER BECKWITH has worked in K-12 education for over 30 years with international leadership experiences that span nine countries. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration with College Teaching, from GPC Vanderbilt University. Dr. Beckwith began her latest educational venture as Founding Director of American United School of Kuwait in October 2012.
In July 2015, LIZ DUFFY became the President of International Schools Services (ISS). For the previous 12 years, she served as the 12th Head Master of The Lawrenceville School, a 210-year-old boarding school in New Jersey. Before Lawrenceville, Ms. Duffy worked in leadership capacities at three educational foundations, and she has served on the boards of numerous foundations, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Ms. Duffy earned a degree in molecular biology from Princeton University and graduate degrees in business and education from Stanford University. lduffy@iss.edu, www.iss.edu

BETH PFANNL has over 30 years of experience in international education. She was most recently the long-standing head of the American Overseas School of Rome. Dr Pfannl earned her doctorate from the Sorbonne in Paris, her BA from McGill University and holds a CAGS in School Administration from Rhode Island College. In addition to leading ISS’s administrative searches, she runs the annual Mary Anne Haas ISS Women’s Leadership Symposium and co-chairs the Diversity Collaborative.
