Presented by NESA Regional Trainer, PERY AWAD & LAURIE TASHARSKI, ICMEC

August 31, 2020 | 3:00-4:00pm (GMT+3)

Many schools are hiring additional teachers and tutors to support remote and socially distanced learning. Criminal background checks identify fewer than 0.2 percent of those with a sexual interest in children. Learn the tools and advice provided to schools to push that number to nearly 25 percent of possible offenders identified and screened out before they set foot on campus. This webinar will include five easy steps to make your hiring protocol safer.

Understand why steps like telegraphing your priorities and checking identity are critical and how you can ensure applicants know you are taking steps to cultivate an ethos of safety. Presenters will offer tips on managing your hiring timeline to maximize tight decision-making windows. The session will be co-presented with an experienced HR professional from the region, and time for Q & A will be provided.
