About the AERO Science Critical Areas Webinar

Project AERO has identified Critical Areas for Science Education in Grades K-5. During this one-hour overview (plus time for questions and comments), we hope to accomplish the following:

      • Consider the current state of K-5 science education with respect to recent and upcoming challenges.
      • Review the structure and key conceptual shifts presented in A Framework for K-12 Science Education.
      • Tour the AERO Science Critical Areas and understand how they aim to support K-5 educators in developing meaningful learning experiences for their students.
      • Consider how K-5 educators might bring the vision of the Framework and the AERO Science Standards to a virtual learning environment.
Target Audience

NESA Member School Grades K-5 Science Teachers.
