Building on the session presented at #OLE20, where we discussed the paradox of authenticity in the workplace and how to lead from your most authentic self, in this session we will explore the power of crucibles. Crucibles can be debilitating, but they can also be your most powerful development opportunity. In this session we will discuss why crucible moments are important, how to unpack the learning they present, and identify ways in which you can lead with greater strength and purpose through crisis.

We are often told to be more “authentic” in our leadership. The research corroborates that authentic leadership is good for the overall health and performance of organizations and of teams. But how can you be your authentic self while leading through the current crisis? In this session we will explore the paradox of authenticity in the workplace, how to lead from your most authentic self, and identify practical ways in which you can lead authentically today.
