This workshop is rooted in the idea that storytelling is a generative human act. The Storyteller not only helps us to describe the world around us and our place in it, but literally conjures up meaning, enabling us to make sense of it. The Storyteller then invites us to participate in this story and co-create our future together. Against the backdrop of a global pandemic, arguably the most disruptive moments our personal and collective stories have ever seen, participants will be encouraged to consider the role of the Storyteller for the future of our schools.
The workshop will build on ideas emerging from the theme of the conference, provide an opportunity for reflection on the emerging story of COVID-19, as well as suggest a conceptual framework to support us as we take on the role of the Storyteller in our schools.
