NESA School Membership

For over 50 years NESA has been serving member schools by facilitating sustainable and systemic school improvement based on the best practices of American and international education, with the goal of maximizing student learning.

Membership is open to any elementary or secondary private independent American/international overseas school or school system. To be eligible for NESA Member School Status, a school must be accredited by a NESA-recognized accreditation agency (CIS, MSA, or NEASC), offer a comprehensive standards-based US type curriculum with English as the primary medium of instruction, share and subscribe to NESA's mission, vision and core values, and wish to participate in NESA's conferences and institutes.

NESA Membership involves a rigorous application process, subject to NESA Board of Trustees approval. Being accepted means a school stands with the top international schools in the NESA region. As a NESA Member, you will receive a Member Certificate as well as materials to help share your membership status with NESA.

Present Teacher Workshops

NESA Member School teachers will have the opportunity to apply to present a one-hour teacher workshop at a NESA event. Selected applicants are expected to attend the annual NESA Educators Learning Event (ELE).

Sponsor NESA Flagship Events

Receive special consideration for sponsorship of the NESA Online Leadership Event and Educators Learning Event, including the design of custom packages tailored to your needs in consultation with NESA.

Leverage the NESA Directory

Connect with the NESA community and share information about your school through your listing in the NESA Membership Directory.

Membership Dues 2021-2022

Based on enrollment.
All amounts quoted are in US Dollars (USD).

The year runs from July 1 to June 30.
