An annual event to create, enhance, and promote greater levels of compassion through committed, compassionate action within our school communities.
The Compassion Summit brings students from like-minded schools together in-person each year to speak of things that matter and – through collaboration, sharing and collaborative planning – create a more just, compassionate world, within our school communities and between them. The goal is to create a coalition of schools committed to compassionate action.
Students throughout the NESA region (and the world) come together to share stories, learn from each other, develop deep knowledge of and plan for compassionate action. Design Thinking Principles are used to create school Action Plans to be implemented within the school community. The 'deep dive' format allows students to contextualize their role within their communities as leaders of compassionate change.
