As founding Director of “Breathe The Change LLC” and cofounder of non-profit BreathLogic, LAURIE ELLIS-YOUNG is a pioneer in recognizing and sharing the extraordinary potential in our ordinary breath: “Breath Literacy”. With teacher burn-out, and student anxiety, depression and overwhelm on the rise, Laurie relishes a mission of implementing the competencies of Breath Literacy (methodology promoting brain function, stress reduction, enhanced health and well-being) in schools world-wide.
She has presented workshops on Breath Literacy and has led wellness sessions at several NESA conferences.
Laurie is also the co-author of Friendship: The Art of the Practice, with resulting traveling photography exhibits: “Yoga: On and Off the Wall”.
