2020-2021 Margaret Sanders Scholarship:

STYLIANI ADAMANTIA PIPA

AMERICAN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS OF ATHENS, GREECE


Styliani is a Children's Rights Team Member and Volunteer at YouSmile — a program of ‘The Smile of the Child’ — an internationally-recognized organization started in Greece that supports children who are the victims of violence, kidnapping, poor health and poverty. Through ‘The Smile of the Child’, Styliani is also a Creative Engagement Volunteer at the public children's hospital "Paidon Hagia Sofia". She was a Learners' Voice 2019-2020 Cohort Member for WISE (World Innovation Summit for Education), a Qatar Foundation initiative promoting innovation in education through collaboration.

At ACS Athens, Styliani served as a Founding Council Member of the Incubator of Students’ Creative Ideas. She is the recipient of ACS Athens Academy Awards for Academic Excellence in IB History, IB Mathematics, IB English Literature, and IB Greek Language and Literature. She plans to pursue a career in Global Governance and International Law.
