#MyFreedomDay — March 16, 2021

An online student-driven event co-hosted by Atlanta International School and The CNN Freedom Project spotlighting modern day slavery and human trafficking

What are you doing to help end slavery?

From KEVIN GLASS, Head of School, Atlanta International School:

Dear Colleagues,

#MyFreedomDay was actually the last in-person gathering our school, Atlanta International School, hosted in March 2020 just before the world changed irrevocably. Much changed but some things stayed constant: the local impact of global crisis and vice versa. This stayed constant: modern human slavery and human trafficking remained with us. In fact, the pandemic has deepened this crisis, and so many more children and adults need our help.

As we prepare for the MARCH 16, 2021 virtual day of action to end Human Trafficking locally in Atlanta, nationally and internationally, Mike McCarthy and I invite you to participate, to share ideas about how to tackle this ongoing crisis and to publicize the event across your networks.

Please read this detailed invitation and we look forward to your participation, advocacy and engagement to help end this global scourge.

With our gratitude,

Kevin Glass, Head of School, Atlanta International School
Mike McCarthy, Executive Vice President, CNN International
